Originally a student of graphic design, my final-year short animated film Swag kickstarted my career in animation. The film was nominated for the British Animation Awards (BAA) Public Choice Film Award in 2002. This recognition led to the film being screened at the NFT in London and in theaters nationwide. It was later distributed on the Best of British Animation Awards Compilation DVD, Vol. 2.
A team player at heart, I am also capable of taking a brief from conception to execution, and ultimately to final delivery. My background in graphic design greatly informs my work, enabling me to approach each project as a creative problem and thoroughly understand the client’s creative goals, while delivering on time and within budget.

Dan Edwards has been working across a variety of disciplines in CG, including advertising, episodic, games, real-time (Unreal Engine), and factual (documentary). Throughout this time, I have worked both independently and as part of larger teams on productions.
